I’m Victor Musembi, a passionate Frontend Engineer and Technical Team Lead dedicated to building clean, scalable, and impactful web applications. With over 2 years of hands-on experience, I have contributed to diverse projects ranging from healthcare platforms to lost-and-found systems, consistently emphasizing usability, performance, and design excellence.
My recent work as Frontend Engineering Lead at Foundly Inc. involves developing responsive dashboards and interactive interfaces for a lost-and-found platform designed to build trust and transparency. I work extensively with React, Next.js, TailwindCSS, and TypeScript, creating modular architectures and collaborating closely with backend and machine learning teams to integrate APIs and AI-driven experiences.
Previously, as a Software Engineering Extern at Jackal Tech Ltd, I led a team that developed JackalCare, a digital health platform serving hospitals and patients across Africa. My contributions included architecting a smart medical card system with AI-powered recommendations and building secure, high-performing full-stack solutions using React, Node.js, and MongoDB.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Informatics and Computer Science at Strathmore University, where I’ve also led key student projects such as FoodShare Nairobi (a food donation platform) and a Travel Booking System integrating MPESA Daraja API for payments.
My technical strengths include React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Node.js, Express, Firebase, Supabase, and Docker. Beyond coding, I bring strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills that make me effective in remote, agile environments.
I’m currently open to remote freelance opportunities where I can apply my skills to craft impactful products, collaborate with global teams, and continuously push the limits of web technology.
