Victor “Menich” Obiajunwa

I am an experienced Product Designer (UI/UX Designer) with a record of creating and designing multiple medium to large-scale product solutions for business customers in both the local and international market. My tasks involve a proper blend of art and planning that forms effective and efficient solutions that meet clients goals and users expectations.  

While at FoodForethought as the Founding Product Designer, I designed a responsive web application and a landing page that incorporates user input to increase Active User Rates by 20%. Working at AcadaPower where I led design team and I oversaw mobile app design initiatives and cut the onboarding timeline in half while also increasing user interaction by 30%. I have been successfully able to design more efficient and effective user flow and contemporary dashboards in the course of my tasks.  

I have proficiency in user research, prototyping, usability testing and managing other designers. The acquired skills in using Figma and FigJam allow me to create unique, visually attracting, and comprehensible yet competitive solutions. Working in multidisciplinary projects as well as reporting to peer and senior management has helped me to develop the skill of, integrating product concepts with organizational objectives and driving creativity.  

UI/UX design is one of my core strengths gained at California Institute of Arts, here I refined design thinking as well as branding plus streamlining of work processes. The education received at the university and previous work experience enabled to design clear and uncluttered interfaces to improve the quality of navigation.  

In relationships to work, I get inspiration from my love for sports and music which gives my creative part a boost. I am a dedicated team player and a strong problem-solver always interested in developing creative solutions and implementing original concepts to provide great solutions and outstanding designs.
