The app's goal is to allow users to identify and track trees in their area for future research and conservation efforts. I was responsible for coordinating and assigning tasks to team members to ensure that the project was completed on time. The app had a registration process where users could register either with email or sign in with google, this added an extra layer of integrity. Once registered, users could add the location of a tree, either pointing on the map or typing in the address, this allowed ease of tagging the trees. After adding the location of the tree, users could then enter information related to the tree such as its name, height, and other characteristics. This data would be stored in the Cloud Firestore, where future functionality could be added for the users to access and refer to it. I worked on connecting the app to Firestore to store the data that was converted into the geojson format. Tech Stack - Java , FireBase , Android SDK. Sahakar Jal - Packaged Drinking Water , Maulinguem Goa - Freelance Web Developer Built company’s ecommerce website ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ Built an ecommerce website for Sahakar Jal, a packaged drinking water and beverages manufacturing company. The website was designed to showcase all of the products sold by Sahakar Jal and allow customers to easily order products online. Customers can create an account prior to ordering as this will save their address and contact details. To make the payment process more convenient, we added an online payment facility using the Razorpay payment gateway. The website is currently hosted on Vercel, but with the payment and product ordering being disabled, serves as a display of our work. PROJECTS ➢ CipherGred - A Product Ingredient Checker Mobile Application ➢ ➢ ➢ Built an app that takes images as inputs and scans for text after scanning and retrieving the text it scans for any harmful ingredients present. Used flutter and Google's text recognition ML-kit for scanning the text from the images of a product. Added anonymous sign in to the app. If the app scans any harmful ingredients in the picture uploaded by the user then a message suggesting that product is harmful to use will be displayed.The harmful ingredients will also be displayed in a scrollable list. If no harmful ingredients are found a message suggesting that the product is safe to use will be displayed. Interested students would register into the website and fill in their details and make payments and choose their exam centre of their choice. Students get their hall tickets in a pdf format, after the results of the exam are declared various other details are filled by the students. Choice of stream and college would be filled by the students and if seats were available they would be allotted on successful payment of fees. This project was approved by the Directorate of Technical Education and the Government of Goa, eventually being used by over 2500 students. I worked on the front end development of the Centralised Automated Admission System using ReactJS , SASS and CSS. The above project was hosted on Amazon Web Services on an EC2 instance. Tech Stack - ReactJS , SASS , Django , PostgreSQL , Knox , AWS. Developed a mobile app that allows users to track the stock prices of NIFTY50 list of stocks and also access news articles related to NIFTY. The first step for the user is to register and log in using Google sign-in, this serves as a means of authentication in the application. The user can check out the previous day stock prices of the stocks under the NIFTY50 list of stocks and the news articles related to NIFTY50. The application makes use of Yahoo Finance API to get the prices of the stocks and NEWS API to get articles of news related to NIFTY. Tech Stack - Flutter , Firebase , Yahoo Finance API , NSETOOLS API. Developed a mobile app that allows users to scan the barcode of food items using the phone camera and view product’s nutritional information. If the barcode is valid and is of a food item only, then the details of the product is fetched, else, an error message is displayed to the user. The details of the product are fetched by using openfoodfacts API which provides the details of the food item name,and nutritional information. Now, the application displays the nutritional information of the product using a pie chart. Allowing the user to compare the nutritional profile. Tech Stack - Flutter, openfoodfacts API.
