➢ Ph.D. Thesis
Ph.D. Project Name, “Performance analysis of integrated energy storage volumetric
absorption solar collector using plasmonic nanofluids”.
Project Description: This study explores the use of Azadirachta Indica (Neem) leaf extract and
its hybrid with gold nanoparticles as eco-friendly heat transfer fluids in Volumetric Absorption Solar
Collectors (VASC). The hybrid nanofluid demonstrated broadband solar absorption, high thermal
efficiency (up to 62%), and excellent stability. Integration with paraffin wax-based thermal energy
storage further improved system performance, achieving zero-loss efficiency of 83.8%, highlighting
its potential for sustainable solar thermal applications.
➢ M.Tech Thesis
M.Tech. Project Name, “Performance Analysis of Scheffler Cooker – Study of Solar energy
and converting it into thermal energy, understanding of utilization and losses”.
Project Description: The objective of this project is to analyze the heat transfer aspects of solar
cooker which includes total energy, heat gain, losses and efficiency of the cooker. The tracking
mechanism of Scheffler reflector has also been studied so as to make solar cooking as comfortable as
possible. It has been concluded that the heat losses have occurred majorly due to
convection.
