Position: Intern- Safety and Security Department
Duties:
Monitoring Tracking and developing security incidence trends for improving crime prevention mechanisms
Liaise with other operational units within the hospital to ensure security considerations are internalized in their operations
Performing security risk assessments, identifying high risk areas and implementing mitigation measures
Performing security incidents investigation and recommending of preventive measures.
Using electronic security (CCTV cameras and access control systems) for proactive crime prevention.
Developing of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety and security operations
Performing of both static and mobile patrols in both the hospital and off campus locations
Review utilization and maintenance of security equipment
Analysis of raw data as captured from communication log book and prepare required records and reports as they pertain to the daytime operation of the Hospital
Responding to safety and security emergencies within the hospital and the university and preferring required remedy
Communicate to the relevant authorities and the Head of Security on the operations of the Hospital as well as security information regarding the security situation in the country or areas of responsibility
Participating in quality assurance and security assessments in various outreach clinics
