I am an experienced international affairs professional, diplomat, government administrator, linguist, analyst, hiring manager, and consultant with regional expertise in SE Europe.

I am looking to utilize a broad set of skills and experiences to provide bespoke freelance services as supplementary work to my full-time job as a diplomat. I cherish the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skillsets and be intellectually challenged. Although the bulk of my professional experience has been in government-related positions, I have also worked in the private sector and do appreciate the corporate culture and expectations.

Having worked in diplomacy with senior government and military officials, I am experienced in public relations, speech writing, policy development, drafting press releases and articles, responding to media inquiries, producing blog entries, conducting public outreach, managing social media presence, conceptualizing and managing events - professional and policy seminars, diplomatic receptions, cultural and educational events.

Based on my experience as an Open-Source analyst, my strengths are in the fields of online and offline research and analysis, writing summary and full reports on assigned topics, proofreading, conducting academic research in social sciences and writing academic papers. I have two master’s degrees: in Security Policy Studies (2001) and International Development (2017).

Finally, I am a detailed oriented administrator who has worked with and led teams of civil servants and contractors, managing their assignments, work schedules, payrolls, training and education.
