WORK EXPERIENCE
UI/UX Designer
(July 31, 2020 - August 31, 2023)
A big part of the process of building a website or application involves designing,
over time I was acquiring experience in the field and started to like it more and
more. My main tool for designing used to be Adobe Xd but later Figma became my
favorite one.
I worked as a designer for a variety of projects, each of them requiring a unique
style and feeling. Some of those projects are listed in my portfolio: V3RPG,
LoveDental, Narraive, EntradasQR.
Fullstack Web Development
LANGUAGES
(August 02, 2020 - May 01, 2023)
During this time I became interested in website development instead of mobile
apps. I already had the basics HTML, CSS and Javascript, but it wasn't enough for
the things I wanted to be able to build so I took some time to deeply learn new
technologies like React and Next.js.
The projects I worked on, involved Frontend, Backend and also UI/UX Design,
including the process of thinking and solving all the problems ahead of time (aka:
planning the entire project). I became familiar to all areas of the development
process.
Some projects during this time: Narraive, Comsa, HxEP.
Mobile App Development
(February 01, 2019 - April 02, 2018)
My developer journey began as a mobile app developer in-, purely as a
hobby. It was only when I felt that my experience and knowledge had grown
sufficiently that I began accepting work from local companies.
I initially used Android Studio for creating apps and small games, later transitioning
to Flutter. This shift was driven by my desire to make my apps accessible to iOS
users as well.
In my portfolio, you can find examples of projects I worked on with my team during
this period: Socios AOM, Enigmath.
EDUCATION
Internet has been my teacher since 2015. I am convinced that with the current
state of technology, you can learn anything that you want, just by yourself.
But it's not all about watching YouTube videos or attending to online courses, the
most effective way to actually learn is to DO THINGS. You can only get experience
by trying and failing over and over again. If you have the sufficient amount of selfcontrol and responsibility to sit down and learn something new without distracting,
then, over time, you will get really good and competent with whatever you are
interested.
You have to learn how to learn, before actually learning.
