I used to work as a Legal Assistant in a surety firm where I filed pleadings in behalf of the company before trial courts, evaluated individual applications for bail bond, and attended hearings before courts and quasi-judicial bodies. Later, I spent my internship in my country's Department of Justice where I prepared direct examination questions to be asked on prosecution witnesses in a human trafficking case, proofread and edited Memorandums of Agreement to be entered by the Department with various government agencies, and attended preliminary investigation proceedings conducted by one of the State Prosecutors.
