This UI is the User Interfaces on the Operations Data Warehouse (ODW). Within the ODW there are three different data areas which are called the source mirror (SM), the staging area (SA) and the i2-mart.
The user interfaces treated in this document will act on the SA and the i2-mart. They will be build as pluggable application for the mobile application platform (mAP) at ICM N, which serves as portal for web-applications access able over the internet and Siemens intranet.
The two interfaces have completely different requirements regarding to Data Life Cycle, update frequency and mode (clear and regenerate vs. continuous update).

Backup and Recovery Admin Tool Feb 2003– May 2003
Programmer
The main purpose of the Admin Tool will be to help the users to restore the data for the District. The backup is taken from the Auxiliary database server back to the primary (production) database server in case if the production data gets corrupted due to a catastrophic disaster.
This is accomplished by deleting district data from the production database and inserting district data from a specified backup that has been loaded into an auxiliary database. This application would have intelligence to execute the scripts and stored procedures based on a predefined tree structure. The job of the admin tool is to call stored procedures and scripts.
These stored procedures and scripts will perform two primary functions:
1) Delete the data from the production database for the affected district.
2) Insert data in production from the auxiliary database for the affected district.
Admin Tool appends the process flow in the Log file. It uses a Property file for getting the log file information.

The client (Brisk India) is a premier provider of Hardware Solutions and this project is for their online customer support. The project emphasizes on the complaints and requirements by the customer, which is displayed to the client/engineers, so that Brisk engineers can give a prompt assistance to them, Customers can also have a total view of all the complaints of his machine, he can remind a complaint and also can view of priority level graph of all pending load. The project also gives provision to display the complaints to Brisk engineers by virtue of a customizable complaint status panel, the engineers can update present status of the complaint, action he has taken, spares required, for the complaint he has attended.

Code the common classes to encapsulate the business logic for the admin module.
