From technical side I was tasked with building Responsive, High-Performance, Scalable and Distributed Web Applications, Distributed Cloud Setup, and building API Services. Performed Lead Role on rebuilding newly acquired product resdagboken.se, 15 year old website that has more than 3,00,000 members, 1,90,00,000 uploaded photos and 20,00,000 posts. I along with my team, designed and rebuilt and moved it from the physical servers in Stockholm to the AWS, launched another English and German version, built a custom ad platform and UI for staff to manage various aspect of this website. Thousands of users use this service daily and we had to make sure that migration was smooth. Rebuilt it with new distributed architecture, with support for multi domain and multilingual UI and content, designed & incorporated mobile app API and finally moved it to AWS without any down time. Achieved 99.99 % uptime goal which was close to impossible with previous system, because of the frequent crashes throughout the day. All of this required a lot of good planning, out of box thinking and smart solutions. This field is vast and rapidly changing with new things coming up everyday. I wish I had lot more hours in a day to devote time for everything and perfect it, but it’s not practically possible. So I try my best to be fluent and proficient in some areas and continue to improve at other areas as I work.
