PROJECT MANIFESTO — This project was born at a critical juncture in my career. PM
was designed in December 2019, and commenced in February, to curate a profound
human experience during the remaining days left in the 27,375-day (75-year) journey of
my life on earth. PM has clear goals set to sprint towards. These goals have been
selected based on how meaningfully society, and humanity, can be impacted. Project
Manifesto's main agenda is to stir, influence, and evoke conversations among youth,
while inspiring them to come together and creatively solve the biggest challenges
humanity faces in the 21st century.

PROFILE
Ten years ago, I embarked on a career
in journalism. During that period, I spent a
great deal of time observing how the
different needles of society moved to make a
functional society. Over the last two years, I
have been specialising in future technologies,
and the whole spectrum of research Science,
as an independent contributor, writer, and
researcher. This deliberate move is part of a
larger endeavour to pioneer innovation in the
coming decade, through my own efforts, as
part of my Project Manifesto. This is to
potentially build a transformative future for
the human society. At the moment, I am
looking to expand my own vantage point, and
overcome the limitations of my own
perspective by walking through the ground
realities of our realm.

City Editorial: As part of Hindu's three-member editorial team for Chennai city, I was
responsible for the CITY Pages 2,3 and 4, designated to civic, crime and human
interest stories pertaining to Chennai. The workflow entailed reporting and selecting the
relevant news stories , designing visuals and editing stories to remove error
and redundancies, while giving ethical headlines and adhering to multiple deadlines.

Reporting and Editing: My career began with TOI, as a reporter. Within months, I was
moved up, into the editorial team. At TOI, I was delegated to handle the National and
Global new stories across seven different editions. Selecting relevant and timely news
articles, writing, editing, designing layouts and assigning/designing visuals were part of the
daily tasks which came with stringent deadlines. Owing to my productivity of averaging 12
to 14 pages a day competently, I was given the opportunity to take on the Front Pages of
two different city editions during India's Lok Sabha elections of-.
