I’m Umer Mughal, a Senior Backend and Cloud Developer with over 5 years of professional experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable backend systems for SaaS, FinTech, and Healthcare platforms.

Since April 2021, I’ve been working at TechTicks Digital, where I lead the backend and cloud infrastructure development for multiple enterprise-grade SaaS products. My work involves building serverless architectures on AWS, developing FastAPI microservices, implementing multi-tenant authentication (Cognito, OAuth2), and automating deployments with GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline.

Before TechTicks, I worked at Procurosis as a Software Engineer, developing a cloud-based e-procurement system using Python (Django) and REST APIs that automated vendor-buyer workflows and improved efficiency across enterprise clients.

Over the years, I’ve contributed to diverse projects, financial transaction systems processing 300K+ records, AI-assisted scheduling platforms, and healthcare SaaS apps that reduced manual operations by 60%. My focus is on delivering production-ready, cloud-native backends that are secure, performant, and easy to scale.
