Hi! I’m Umar — an Embedded Systems & FPGA Engineer who eventually discovered that life isn’t just about writing firmware, building processors, or chasing timing closure… sometimes it’s about automating boring tasks so humans don’t lose their sanity. That discovery pulled me straight into the world of AI automation, no-code workflows, and Python scripting — areas where I now help clients save hours, reduce errors, and build systems that practically run themselves.
My engineering foundation comes from hands-on work with platforms like ESP32, STM32, PIC18F, Raspberry Pi, Arty A7, and PYNQ-Z1, backed by real training at the NUST Chip Design Centre (NCDC). I’ve built firmware for production prototypes, implemented digital logic on FPGAs, validated memory subsystems, and developed embedded vision pipelines. Along the way, I realized I had a knack for spotting inefficiencies — and even more fun: automating them.
That’s where no-code and technical automation come into the picture. I use tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n, and custom Python scripts to connect systems, automate workflows, integrate APIs, and eliminate repetitive tasks. Whether it’s setting up intelligent email workflows, syncing data across business apps, automating reporting, or creating back-end pipelines — I build systems that are clean, stable, and delightfully hands-off.
But unlike typical no-code freelancers, I also understand the engineering under the hood. If an automation needs deeper logic, system integrations, or hardware involvement — I’m fully capable of going low-level. Need an automation that triggers from a physical device? A hardware-driven workflow? A hybrid Python + no-code system? That’s where my combination of skills shines.
My internships and training across NCDC, InLights, and research labs exposed me to embedded design, FPGA workflows, digital systems, and automation-driven development. To speed up workflows, I wrote Python tools. To automate test environments, I built scripts. To streamline tasks, I explored no-code tools. Over time, these automation habits grew into a second superpower.
Because I bring:
✔ deep engineering discipline
✔ practical automation problem-solving
✔ clear communication
✔ reliable delivery
✔ and just enough humor to keep projects human
If you need someone who can automate processes, build embedded solutions, develop firmware, integrate hardware, write Python scripts, or create powerful no-code systems — I’d be happy to help bring clarity, efficiency, and intelligence to your project.
