Hi! I'm Umang Purohit, a creative and passionate content professional with a background in journalism and a flair for language. With a Master's in Journalism & Communication from Saurashtra University and a Bachelor's in Commerce from Gujarat University, I've cultivated a unique blend of analytical thinking and creative storytelling.

Currently, I work with Tripoto Travel Pvt. Ltd. as a Content Coordinator and Social Media Associate. My role includes travel copywriting across formats (videos, articles, blogs), managing social media presence, and being the go-to person for content in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. I also proofread content to ensure high-quality output.

Before Tripoto, I worked at prominent media outlets such as Sandesh News and ETV News, where I honed my skills in news writing, translation, content ideation, and social media management.

I’m also an experienced freelance translator and language expert. I've worked with organizations like the National Human Rights Commission of India, Somya Translators Pvt. Ltd., and Languashine. My translation expertise spans legal, medical, IT, gaming, and marketing content. I specialize in Gujarati-Hindi-English translation and localization, along with product descriptions and email marketing content.

Beyond professional pursuits, I’m deeply passionate about comedy and travel. Comedy helps me maintain a positive outlook, and traveling expands my worldview and adds depth to my storytelling.
