The popularity of the casinos we due to USA, where the modern casinos that we know were born. For that time, they were called saloons and they started in four cities -New Orleans, St. Louis, Chicago and San Francisco. They were very popular because they gathered the people together where they communicated, talked and they participated in gambling. The word casino has an Italian origin. The direct translation is a building that is specifically built for pleasure. It didn’t include only gambling but also music and dancing. One of the biggest drive of the boom and popularity of the casinos nowadays is the boom of the Internet.
