Christmas Grudge
On his first mission, a ninja-boy discovers Santa Claus is real. Why hasn't he ever received a
Christmas present? He'll track down Santa Claus and get his dues.
After daring to save his first mission from disaster, KENTARO (12) packs up the tools of a
precise ninja hit but before he and SEIZONSHA (15) can row off, they see SANTA CLAUS and his
reindeer sail across the night sky. Not wanting to seem unprofessional, Seizonsha denies Kentaro’s
account to MASTER OSAMU, his stone-hearted father, but his brother SHOICHI (17) searches the
deep web and discovers the ancient history of Santa Claus.
Santa fought against the corruption of man by THE UNFORGIVEN who taught men the ways
of war, the marital arts, and many other practices. This backs up what Shoichi has been telling
Kentaro and Seizonsha. Their father has been teaching them wrong their entire lives. Throwing a
smoke-screen pellet, Kentaro makes his escape and runs away from home. He leaves a ninja scroll
proclaiming that he deserves his dues from Santa’s Wishing Sack and when he gets what’s rightfully
his, he will bring order to the aimless.
Shoichi and Seizonsha begin their search for Kentaro when they realize their parents have no
idea what’s really going on. Going after the immortal Santa Claus requires Kentaro to step up his
game, so he tracks down FROSTY THE SNOWMAN for his magical hat which has regenerative
powers. Santa Claus receives Frosty’s melted head in a plastic bag; “Tell Rudolph, meet me on the
roof.”
RUDOLPH THE REDNOSED REINDEER captures Shoichi and Seizonsha trying to tunnel
under the North Pole Colony’s perimeter wall. They’re taken before Santa and JESSICA CLAUS in a
community court where Shoichi advocates on behalf of Kentaro who he spots in the audience
disguised as an elf. Kentaro is the best son to his father even if Master Osamu doesn’t acknowledge
it, but Santa Claus rewards those who genuinely care for the well-being of others. Jessica points out
Kentaro is a ninja; someone who is ruled by personal gain at the expense of others. Shoichi has no
choice but to agree. He points out Kentaro in the audience.
Santa Claus takes charge of Kentaro on his first day trying to convince him to think about the
future, but the boy is too stubborn. Rudolph guides Kentaro through his second day trying to persuade
him to seize the opportunities of the present to reach his full potential, but Kentaro has his mind set on
claiming his dues. Jessica has little patients for the ninja-boy as she reveals the secrets of the past.
Kentaro may deserve better but injustices are meant to occur. There are countless versions of us in
different dimensions making different decisions. Ages ago, Jessica parted with her child to fight for
humans, but it was all for nothing.
The communal court decides to grant Kentaro one thing from the Wishing Sack, but he attacks
Santa and steals the Wishing Sack. Flying Reindeer and Elves try to stop Kentaro, but he fights them
off and he escapes. He tries the Wishing Sack, but it doesn’t work. Taking Santa’s right-hand-elf
hostage, Kentaro demands his wishes and Santa reveals the secret to making the Sack work but
Jessica has had enough. She gives Rudolph the signal and he unleashes his secret power almost
killing Kentaro, but the ninja-boy had a secret weapon too. Seizonsha has been on Kentaro’s side the
whole time. She beats up Rudolph and poisons Jessica letting Kentaro escape.
Santa is now angered and fights Kentaro at the edge of a crevasse that leads to the Inner
Earth. They gain mutual respect in their battle but Shoichi interferes and almost falls into the crevasse
but Kentaro catches him. The two are rescued by Santa and Kentaro admits his error. The children
are returned to their ninja family who are astonished that Santa is real.
The ninja family abandons their brutal ways and adopt a normal life but Kentaro can’t adjust to
it. His goal was to be the best version of himself so we revert to another dimension where Santa
couldn’t rescue Kentaro and Shoichi at the edge of the crevasse. They fall into the pit and find
themselves in the Inner Earth.
