About

I have over a decade of experience in online communication consulting, mentoring, editing, and writing support in various contexts.

I lived in Japan during high school, so after several years of doing research and public events under grant funding from the University of Minnesota, I returned to Asia, where I found freelance opportunities working with academics in Asia, helping them edit/support their research to get accepted to academic journals in Western countries and apply for grants. While working at a university in Thailand, I worked under the dean of the management school, conducting editing and content creation for the international relations department. I also led various special programs, workshops, events, and classes with students and researchers from Asia and Europe.

During this time, I was accepted to do a project in a museum in Beijing, which led to connections in working with Chinese people online, where I ventured more into the STEM fields of research and working in Shenzhen's startup scene. My role was to dive into clients' various subjects to become knowledgeable and rapidly give communication consulting or editing support. I also helped with research, editing, grants, and other college/medical/MBA/master's applications.

I also spent several years working with travel, lifestyle, and hotel content for Amari Hotels and ONYX Hospitality Group. Then, I did more technical editing for AIA Insurance. I often dealt with various style guides in this role and covered multiple clients simultaneously.

During the COVID period, I have also done various recycling art events in Bangkok's largest slum community, as well as interactive projects, including "Awakening," a week-long outdoor light festival that saw over 100,000 people attend as well as a collaboration with Vespa Scooters to raise money for the Mango Art Festival, the largest small artist festival in Thailand, where I used Facebook's SparkAR and other applications to create several interactive stations.

I am now freelancing and hired by various companies to deliver editing, workshops, client services, content creation, art direction, and sales. For example, recently, a large platform in the USA hired me to deliver seminars alongside former UCLA and Tufts admission officers about creative writing.

I'm a driven person who likes to excel at whatever I am doing while seeking out things that I find interesting and will enjoy. So, if I apply to your role, it is something I think I could dive into and be a great part of your organization.
