Since 2013 I have been on a journey to teach myself front-end web development. The first experience I bought a domain and paid for a web hosting account. I used PHP coding to develop a website similar to Facebook but it was where users could upload talent videos to be entered into a contest. The website was not successful because I did not renew my domain and had not learned about SEO at the time. After that first year and the unsuccessful website. I researched why it failed and it brought me to learn about SEOs.

For the next two years, I researched and learned the basics of Python C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript programming languages. I found out most languages are the same except punctuation and form. I have dabbed some in SQL and Access.

In 2017 I started taking free courses online at Free Code Camp to receive a certification. There are have learned my extensively HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. On the side because of my work at Heifer International I have learned how to use JavaScript and JSON to make requests to APIs and pull information from other websites.
