About

I have a BA Fine Arts (Honours) that has helped harness my attention to detail as well as acquiring a conceptual and critical capability. I also acquired several skills on Adobe CC software.

During my Master’s in Fine Arts, which is still pending, I was the co-coordinator of the inaugural Wits’ Master’s space. I was responsible for the daily running and maintenance of the space. In addition, I had to liaison with other departments and students for exhibitions and so forth.

I have just completed my internship at Klerksdorp Museum. My role at the space was the installation artist, but I also got involved with other projects including designing the proposal for a public art project. In addition, I collaborated with various artist to produce an exhibition at the museum.

Prior the pandemic, I was freelancing as a graphic designer. I worked closely with promoters and artists to create their profiles, logos and so forth. It led me to become a part of the Debut Programme. This was a great program to not only expand my skills but to also my venture to be able to include photography.

I do think of myself as a creative that is always pushing herself, highly resourceful and is extremely open-mined. Frankly, I feel like I need a platform to grow even more as a creative. I think I have immerse potential but I just need the right context that is creatively stimulating. I am willing to commit and work as hard as I can to prove I am an asset to you. I have gotten so far, not just by luck but by giving it my all in everything I am passionate about.
