Trisha Valerie Jabillo

I am a bachelor's degree holder in Management Accounting. I have over two years of banking experience. I worked as a customer service associate. My main responsibility is to deliver good customer experience by processing their transactions accurately and in a timely manner. With this job, I was able to learn more on how to manage my time properly and multi-task. I was also trained to be more focused and to have a keen eye for details. With my performance, I was given the opportunity to attend extensive trainings to familiarize myself with the products and services we offer. I was tasked to share my learnings to my colleagues. I also train new hires and guide my colleagues to ensure that there is smooth flow in our transactions. I was then promoted as a Sales Associate. This is what I consider as the most challenging job because I have to hit and exceed my quotas. We have to sell products to clients, assess their needs, offer many products and convince them that they need the product. With determination, I was able to hit my quotas. It was also challenging because of the files that we have to properly monitor and update, but with patience we were able to maintain records properly. I was also considered as one of the fastest employee in our branch because I process transactions efficiently. I am currently working with a non-government organization for almost nine months now. I am a finance staff for one of their accounts. I prepare periodic reports, presentations, maintain files (hard and soft), assist in payroll and tax preparation. I also help in research and due diligence for organizations who are applying for funding. I use Quick Books to record transactions. I am also currently doing part-time jobs. I have an event-organizing business with a friend. We talk to suppliers and bargain prices, find venues, propose budget and we manage all activities to be done during events. I am also working part-time as an online English teacher. The company I work with caters to Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, and Chinese students. My job experiences have helped me value the importance of hard work. I also believe that with perseverance, persistence and determination, anyone can be successful in whatever field or industry they may be in. With these elements and proper training, I believe that I can be a great help to any company I am with.
