I have 18 years of vast experience in procurement profile. I started my procurement career by working with Reliance where responsibilities which was handed were to take care of procurement activities related to Marketing and outdoor activities. This position has given me key employability skills while also allowing me to experience working in a professional and fast-paced work environment.

After Reliance, I joined Moser Baer Photo Voltaic Ltd where it was for the procurement of BOM(Solar), consumables, spare parts, etc. I also learned import procurement at Moser Baer Photo Voltaic.

After this joined The Energy and Resources Institute (New Delhi) where worked for the eleven and half years on projects in many fields. This position has given me key employability skills while also allowing me to experience working in a professional and fast-paced work environment. My key achievements were developing new processes with the help of IT and finance for better vendor management (e.g., Advance payments, Retention payments processes, etc), and taking care of different types of tender procurement (related to Construction, Battery, Solar Boat, etc). These projects were being funded by Government; therefore, spending must be maintained as per the guidelines received. Tender documents were being made and issued where different stakeholders were involved. As an Internal Auditor, all the documents related to the procurement process were created, issued, updated, and maintained by me (SOP, Turtle diagram, formats, etc). In TERI most of the procurement was related to Solar systems like streetlight, solar home lighting system, solar micro grid, Hybrid Solar System (for Loom/ boat/Toy), Solar power plant etc. Most of these procurements were done through tender process, Tender documents are being made and issued where different stakeholders are involved. As an Internal Auditor, all the documents related to procurement process are created, issued, updated and maintained by me (SOP, Turtle diagram, formats etc).

Currently working as a Lead procurement with Soothe Healthcare, handling a team of 4 people. Responsibilities which are being handed are logistics, Raw Material import procurement, domestic procurement, Custom schemes to be implemented, approval of the orders issued.

In January 2002, completed my bachelor’s and obtained a Certificate for Web Designing and computerized financial accounting course. While working, I completed my post-graduation in Retail Management from Symbiosis, Pune. Some other courses which had been completed were in Materials Management, Public Procurement and Supplier Managing Performance.
