Responsible for the visual design of team-wide marketing materials related to existing and conceptual Airline Solutions products. These materials included concept boards, presentation designs and signage. Provided Creative Direction along with creating visual enhancements across new and existing desktop / mobile products. This direction stems from a (design-driven) highly-collaborative team effort, which ultimately, helped bridge the gap between UX and Development teams. Senior UX Designer, GetThere (Sabre) Southlake, TX - 2008 to 2013 Responsible for creating conceptual mockups based on team-wide collaboration in order to help visually fill the GetThere UX gaps. These Visual Design efforts ranged from enhancing existing features and products to creating entirely new looks for the GetThere booking tool (mobile and desktop). Managed all UX needs among multiple projects, including the Air, Car and Sabre Virtual Meeting products. These responsibilities include creating mockups, sketches, prototypes for each product or feature along with frequent coordination / communication with the product marketing and development teams. Actively involved in usability testing of multiple GetThere products and features. Usability responsibilities include heavy coordination with the Human Factors and Product Marketing teams to determine the goals and UX efforts for each study, creating mockups, producing a functional prototype, observing each study and participating in post-study brainstorming sessions. On average, our team conducted 10-12 studies per year. Web Designer, Travelocity (Sabre) Southlake, TX - 2007 to 2008 Designed several flash-based, destination-specific landing pages for the Travelocity ExperienceFinder team. Responsibilities included creating the initial header collage within Photoshop and once approved, animating the header within Flash to finish the product. Responsible for creating internal/external promotional sites and materials including the graphics, animation, iconography and functionality maintenance associated with each. Designed flash-based advertisements and components to help increase click-through rates and improve the overall user experience. The majority of these advertisements were customer-driven promotional pieces. Lead Designer, Lankford Media Group Dallas, TX - 2005 to 2007 Provided key Creative Direction, prioritized projects for each team member and managed the team budget. Responsible for leading the conceptual work, design and production of web-based material, marketing materials, logo design, presentations, motion graphics and video editing. Creative Developer, New Media Gateway Dallas, TX - 2005 Designed and maintained several sites, including creating animation and presentation materials, along with coordinating with the Sales and Marketing teams to insure the success of each project. Responsible for the design of several animation-rich multimedia presentations for DVD and the web. Tasks included designing an overall presentation theme, creating all supporting graphics to be used within the animation and syncing the animation to the provided voice-over track.
