I spent a summer working as a construction laborer mainly on the concrete crew, but also performed many excavating and
surveying duties. I spent some time in the shop performing various jobs and learning how to use new equipment as well.
While at Wieser Brothers, I went on large scale jobs (i.e. Ashley Furniture Warehouse) and small scale jobs (i.e. Foundation
for a pool shed at a residence). Both taught me a lot about the construction trade. My duties at this job also included driving
manual straight truck to transport heavy machinery and tools to job sites.

Projects:
As Marketing Manager of Wieser Concrete, one of my roles is to write, publish, and distribute our monthly company
newsletter. We typically cover three main short articles and include any employee anniversary milestones and our
upcoming show schedule. For this monthly project, I interview contractors and customers for the articles, use my creative
writing skills, and send the newsletter out in various forms of media. The newsletter is published on our website, social
media accounts, edited for print copies to be mailed with outgoing statements, and sent via email to almost 1,000
contractors, engineers, customers, and employees monthly.
