OVAL stands for Open Vulnerability and Assessment Language. Its an XML based language, its
used for encoding system detail. We created a tool which allows to create new content based
on OVAL standard. View / Update / Delete created content. We created graph to see hierarchy
of content to find how this content is deriving data from other content. Initially our client
gave us standard files which we study and created a database which will hold that file content
in such a way that after dumping file in database everything in file will be managed separately.
We also created Master Data Management where Admin can add / update / delete entries of
OS, Nodes, Attributes Object, State, Variable etc.

● Implemented business logic for creating content with dynamic UI and also added
standard validation which gave user full flexibility to create its content.

Contractor Interface allows multiple rules to be uploaded in system using excel template. If
given excel is not as per template then it will not get uploaded. While uploading file every
record get process if any row has bad data then it will not process, only valid rows will get
saved in database. After successful uploading in database user can make changes in rule if
required else rules can be assigned to QA. QA will get an email with a link to the uploaded file.
QA will verify data and confirm. Once QA confirm rule will be created using Ontology API.

Default Credential Tracking allows to track on rules which uses credential. We created an
algorithm which will run on all rules and find keyword such as user, username, password,
credentials etc. Later we search for credential on previously matched rules. We also created a
cron which will search for credential on newly added rules. User can add / update / delete
records with multiple credentials in records. QA has to verify added records, and make them
publish. In Report section user can generate report in CSV / PDF / Excel format. Only published
records are get added in Report.
