Gold Standard project
As the Field Coordinator at SolarAid, I successfully led the distribution of solar lights to
pupils in selected rural schools across Lusaka and Eastern provinces, benefiting over
1,000 students in underserved areas. My role involved recruiting and training more than
50 head teachers and traditional leaders on renewable energy and carbon credit enabling
local leaders to advocate for sustainable energy solutions. I meticulously planned and
coordinated the implementation of the project, ensuring that solar lights were delivered
on time to all deserving beneficiaries.
