EXPERIENCE
Robotic Soccer, Midwestern State University
January 2020 - December 2020
Eureca Program Research
●
Designed and 3D printed a case to house the robot’s power supply using Solid Works.
●
Researched and conceptualized mobile robot localization concepts for the team, specifically the Bayes
Filter and Monte Carlo Localization.
Senior Design Project, Midwestern State University
Pulley-Based Movable Led System for Optimum Plant Growth
●
●
●
●
August 2019 - May 2020
Collaborated with three team members to design and implement an Arduino-based system that uses
ultrasonic and PAR sensors and a camera to track plant growth and maintain desired light intensity for
the optimal growth of plants.
Contributed ideas for changes in project design, identified definite feasibility issues, and offered a
better alternative.
Assisted with writing project abstract and technical reports.
Presented project proposal to faculty and classmates, earning praise from advisors for creativity and
effective communication of ideas.
Measurements and Instrumentation Project
November 2018 – December 2018
●
Plotted and filtered accelerometer signal data from two cars in MATLAB.
●
Determined excitation frequency of signals and RPM of the two cars using the Fast Fourier Transform
(FFT) of the original and filtered signals.
●
Designed a bandpass filter to retain the excitation frequency of the signals.
Science Fair Elevator Project
May 2015
●
Worked with a team to build a model elevator using mechanical relays and a pulley system built from a
car window regulator and motor.
●
Presented project to judges and won first place in the 1st year Physics Category.
