Strategy Analyst- Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Group (CHI) March 2018 – July 2019
I worked with the SCP team in CHI on various competency areas including Strategy Management, Budget Management, Strategic Partnership, Research and Product Development.
Some of my major responsibilities/projects executed include:
I provided inputs into the Corporate Strategy Development and contribute to the monitoring of Strategic project executions.
Worked on a process transformation project to review and develop Process Manuals and Policy Documents. We documented over 160 enterprise-wide process and policies.
Assisted with the tracking and reporting of strategic initiatives providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all initiatives, which led to a 70% completion of all initiatives in the 5-year strategy plan in one year, after being stalled for 3 years
Assisted with advising Project Owners on the best use of strategy and project management disciplines and approaches, which increased organizational efficiency by 30%.
Conducted qualitative and quantitative research on companies in the insurance industry to provide market intelligence, conducting periodic scans of the macro-economic environment, and same to reflect its impact on CHI Plc’s business.
Supported product development efforts within the organization, developing new products to target various market segments and improving on existing products. I developed four new variants of existing products for the company which boosted the company’s market share by 3%.
Supported with the budgeting process in CHI to develop the revenue and expense framework for all the branches and departments and monitoring the same, achieving 90% of its revenue budget, and a 56% increase in profit.
Supported the capital raise efforts in CHI with the review of its corporate strategy and the development of investment teasers for presentation to potential investors. This resulted in the successful injection of ₦1.2bn in additional capital.

Content Manager, Lagos SME Bootcamp
I develop and manage all contents for the Lagos SME Boot Camp with an average participant feedback rating of over 90%. The content was focused on how SMEs can develop an effective business plan to adequately manage/sustain growth in their company. The Lagos SME Bootcamp is a free capacity building & business networking event targeted at helping SMEs develop the requisite skill needed to position their business for strategic growth. The event brings together leaders to train & mentor SME founders on skills such as Business planning, capital raising, Tax, Technology Tools, etc. Over 100 SMEs have been trained at the event.
