THE PROFILE OF TITILAYO AJOSE
Titilayo Ajose is an author, freelance writer and educationist who is committed to acquiring great skills in
what happens to be her most rewarding hobby - writing and to pursue it as a profession with the aim of
impacting the world with knowledge and contributing meaningfully to resolving societal challenges.
Titilayo is an expert in writing e-books and articles of diverse topics.
Titilayo possesses effective communication and computer application skills. She is an addicted book
reader and an active member of many book clubs and writing groups like Goodreads, Tumblr,
Scribophile, Critique Circle, Guru, Upwork and Freelance Writers to mention a few.
She enjoys travelling, playing volley ball and of course writing as both hobby and a profession.
Academic Background
Titilayo attended the University of Ibadan, Nigeria where she obtained a degree in Agricultural
Economics in 2001. Not quite satisfied with her educational pursuits, she proceeded further to the
National Open University of Nigeria, Lagos where she obtained a Post graduate Diploma in Education
degree in the year 2011.
Work Experience
After her first university degree, Titilayo began full time teaching career in 2004 where her proficiency
and experiences are still relevant and put to good use today. Her creativity and passion for writing began
an adventure into inspired writing in 2006 with the completion of her first fiction work – Depth of the
Jungle, a fiction novel for young adults on the 3rd of March, 2006, reviewed by Dorrance Publishing
Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has since then written others such as Unclean Riches - a sequel
to Depth of the Jungle, Strange Secrets, Twins, Escape from the Storm and Winds of Change published by
Vantage Publishers, Lagos.
Titilayo proceeded into another adventure in article writing in the year 2007 when she teamed up with
Changes Prints International an inspiring and exciting publishing company in Warri Delta state, Nigeria
which publishes “Changes” a quarterly magazine on issues of health, career, education etc. She featured
mostly in writing of articles and short stories. She is also the author of two e-books African Tourist
Encyclopaedia and Just Before the Bridge, both published by Lulu Press and available at Lulu and
Amazon.
Her expertise in online writing works can be confirmed independently on Upwork especially where she
successfully translated a Poem: The Chosen One: The Mother and the Son written by Vijay Shankar
Sharma into Yoruba Language.
In 2020, Titilayo took up the challenge and became a content writer for The Ready Writers (TRW)
Consult where she became the Title Manager for Kingdom News a Christian website.
