PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE
1. Lead Frontend Engineer, Simpu - January 2020 - Present

Led the design, implementation and maintenance of user interface experiences
across Simpu. These included websites and web applications for Simpu’s
omnichannel inbox, CRM, SMS marketing and email marketing platforms which
currently serves hundreds of companies and thousands of customers.

Designed and developed an omnichannel inbox web application in collaboration with
the backend teams. The application was recognised as the 4th most popular app of
the day on Product Hunt.

Designed and developed a marketing application in collaboration with the backend
teams, currently facilitating the broadcast of over 5million email and SMS messages
per month.

Implemented and maintained frontend integrations across multiple third-party
customer services. Including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, Gmail, HubSpot,
Zoom, Jira, Google Sheets connection syncs. These integrations enabled users to
connect their data sources from anywhere directly to the Simpu platform, and
increased customer engagement by approximately 800% over a 12 month period after
a complete rollout.

Developed a JavaScript SDK for tracking user behaviors, facilitating efficient analysis
and insights into user engagement with Simpu’s marketing platform.

Developed a JavaScript livechat widget with chatbot capablities, facilitating over
300,000 conversations on websites and web applications of Simpu’s customers since
launch.

Designed and developed core software for Simpu's customer and back office
platform, critical for account monitoring and allowing for seamless customer
management.

Onboarded and mentored junior frontend engineers on the company’s frontend

2. Senior Frontend Engineer (Web & Mobile), Shara - March 2020 - May 2021

Managed and maintained web and mobile user interfaces and experiences across
the entire company as a founding member of the engineering team.

Developed a mobile invoicing and sales management application for SMEs in Africa
(Nigeria and Kenya as pilot markets). Followed Agile processes, collaborated with user
research and design teams to ensure we were solving the right problems for
businesses. The application had over 10,000 downloads on the first month of public
launch on the app stores.

Led the development of a mobile software for a Buy Now Pay Later solution for local
merchants in Kenya and Nigeria responsible for processing over $15M in credit to end
customers through the merchants.

Improved the performance of mobile applications by 10%, leading to a 43% increase in

3. Senior Frontend Engineer, Sumosoft Creative Studio - April 2019 - February 2020

top clients with these applications generating over $100,000 in sales revenue for the
clients.

developed using TypeScript, React and Blazor, leading to investment interest from
Microsoft Ventures for the company and closing of two major e-commerce brands in
the UK.

4. Frontend Engineer, Tuteria - March 2018 - April 2019
