Tinaye Gandhle- |-Objective My main objective in life is to be able to make a positive impact on people’s life. I want everyone who meets me to have learned something or gained something from our encounter. I’m motivated by wanting to make the world a better place for future generations. Education High school Diploma | May 2017 | Little Elm High School Graduated with a GPA of 4.3. I was in the top 13% of my class. I participated in varsity track, varsity choir and basketball. I was inducted into the National Honor Society and apart of the prom committee. BACHELOR’S IN BIOLOGY | In progress | University of Houston · Major: Biology: pre-pharmacy Key Skills · Time Management · Self-Motivated · Leadership · Decision Making · Communication · Adaptability · Well-organized Experience Babysitter •December 2016-August 2017 Took care of a nine-year-old girl. I made sure she was fed, we went out to play games and everything. We formed a very good relationship because she wasn’t very trusting of people, to begin with. Nanny • Summer of 2017 Taught 7-year-old twin boys’ math, English, reading, and writing. Also cleaned up the house including laundry and dishes. Was responsible for making sure the children didn’t get into everything. Twins tend to fight everything therefore, I had to have amazing conflict resolution, so we could solve all problems in a calm manner without choosing a side. Social Media Manager • August 2017-December 2017 I oversaw of the management of the social media. I had to create all the social media for the company. I had to make sure to post content daily on all social media that I made for the company. Those social media accounts included Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Assistant • July 2017-present An assistant I made spreadsheets and looked over them to check for any errors. Read through contracts looking for certain information. I also managed the social media aspect of the company. I also did some copywriting for a few projects. I always made sure to be efficient while finishing all the work assigned to me in a timely manner. Nanny • February 2017-present Taking care if a 10-month-old. Taught him how to crawl and currently working on how to walk. Made sure he stays on the same feeding schedule. Tutor • February 2018 – August 2018 I tutored AP Government. In the end, she passed the class because of the practice and background knowledge we learned together. Also, since she was senior in high school, I also helped her with the transition between high school and college. We formed a good relationship because I was in a way also her mentor. Nanny • July 28 – August 2018 I oversaw three kids. The kids were 9 months and 4-year old twins. I was responsible for bedtime, something bath time, getting dinner ready. For the 9-month old, I oversaw bottle time and tummy time. I become a quick learner since three kids were the most about kids I had ever dealt with. Flexibility was important for this job because while working with kids, things don’t always go to plan. This job required me to become more proficient in multitasking because of the different ages of the children and them wanting different things at the same time. During the walks, I would try to convince people to adopt a cute furry friend. The Spirit Embassy I was the head of childcare. I posted pictures and inspirational quotes on the Facebook page. Literacy Library The elementary school got new books and I volunteered to help shelf the books and sort them out. While I was there I spend all day organizing books and putting them in the correct sections. JerseySTEM I’m a part of the marketing team for JerseySTEM. I help to create content for their website, creating flyers to help get more funding. I also did some graphic designs for marketing purposes.
