Timothy Syme

I am an experienced writer, editor and researcher. As a native English speaker with a PhD in philosophy, I am well-versed in academic style. In my 10 years of teaching and five years of editing and proofreading, I have helped many people improve their writing and clarify their ideas and arguments. 

The majority of my teaching and editing experience has been with non-native English speakers, so I am accustomed to helping ESL writers improve their prose.

My training in analytic philosophy and my experience as a proofreader and editor mean that I have a keen eye for detail and an ability to craft, and help others craft, clear and effective prose.

I am based in Spain and originally from the UK, but I did my doctorate in the USA and have written and edited many texts in American English.
