Timothy Macqueen

I am interested in the fields of Plant ecology and plant genetics in general. I tend to have always had and continue to have, questions about the connections and relationships between the abiotic and biotic components of ecosystems. I am also drawn to the utilisation of GIS techniques in order to map environmental changes occurring across habitats over time. I have utilized georeferencing as a process on QGIS. I have worked on subsets of databases on Microsoft Access. I am currently utilizing Open Refine as a tool to clean databases. I am proficient in the use of Specify and XML coding.

I have always had a passion for the English Language and writing in general. I have found the problem solving aspect and sense of accomplishment when compiling scientific papers to be fulfilling. My academic excellence culminated in me getting a Cum Laude for my BSc. Honours in Botany. I came 1st in English in Grade 10 and 11 at High School.
