EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
2015 - Present
Freelance Videography/Photography
Since 2015, I provided high-end video and photography
for a range of clientele - commercial, internal and
personal use. This began with providing wedding
videography services for a number of years (20+
clients), leading into me branching out and providing
promotional and creative video content for musicians such as live shows, music videos and studio recordings
- (Toucan, Ariel Posen, Conor Scott, Keywest) As well
as promotional advertisement for overseas mission
charities (Abaana Ministries) clothing companies
(MVMT,High Hopes, Hobo Jack) and restaurants (Tribal
Burger), and eventually internal communications
videography for the likes of Queens University.

September 2019 - Present
Foundation Church Belfast Ministry Assistant / Worship Leader
As ministry assistant, my responsibilities include
supporting the lead pastor in pastoral duties such as
formatting the weekly service sheets and maintaining
contact with newcomers to the church to ensure they
feel welcome and cared for. As worship leader, my
weekly responsibilities include choosing the songs for
Sunday and leading the congregation in corporate
worship. Due to the nature of this role, my time has
been very much my own, and I have had to adapt to
creating my own deadlines and daily disciplines in
order to achieve the most efficient workflow
September 2018 – 2019
The Hub Belfast (Church of Ireland University
Chaplaincy)
Ministry Intern - Communications and Outreach
The Church of Ireland chaplaincy at Queens University
was given funding as part of a plan to expand their
student ministry throughout Belfast, seeking to reach
out into the likes of Belfast MET, UU and Stranmillis. As
part of this, I was hired as a communications and
outreach intern, given the responsibility of providing
regular creative content, advertising what The Hub offer
to the students of Belfast. As well as planning and
organising a number of outreach opportunities.
As part of this role, I was key holder for the chaplaincy,
including its 4 student residence buildings, its church
and its public cafe.

Skills / Proficiency
Camera
Sony Alpha Series
For 4 years, I have been dedicated to Sony’s Alpha
mirrorless range of cameras; specifically the A7Sii. I
have committed myself to becoming fluent in using
Sony’s unique interface and capabilities. I have found
the A7Sii to be paramount in providing quality footage
in wedding videography, short film and corporate work.
While its low MPs (12) creates restrictions for
photography work, I have found the bit-rate and
dynamic range to provide quality stills regardless.

Editing
Adobe Creative Cloud
Since I began my time within the freelance industry, I
have exclusively used Adobe’s CC Suite, specialising in
Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Illustrator. From the
beginning I have committed myself to fluency in using
the software, and everything it has to offer in video and
still editing. I have used Premiere Pro in editing
together two award winning short films (“The Grass is
Always Greener” and “Edgar I Am”) and 20+ wedding
videos.
EXPERIENCE
June 2019
Abaana Missionary Ministries
Overseas Mission Team Leader
As part of my internship at The Hub, I was part of a
team that organised and led a three-week mission to
Uganda, working with school children and serving in a
remand centre for young offenders. The responsibilities
of this role were primarily ensuring that operations ran
smoothly throughout the mission, such as being
consistently aware of the whereabouts of our team
members as well as being 24/7 emotional support.
September - July 2018
Writing and Directing my Own Short Film
At the beginning of the final year of my degree, my
class of 45 students were instructed to each write a
script for a short film of any genre and structure. Out of
these, 6 scripts were chosen to be produced over the
year, and whoever had their script chosen directed the
production and chose their crew from the class. My
script was chosen and I spent the next year directing
my own short film. This opportunity gave me great
experience in starting with a minimal idea and
dedicating every moment I got to turn it into something
worth watching and investing in. I gained invaluable
experience in managing a team of 5 crew members,
and through this was put in a position of learning to
deal with any conflict that arose, so that the crew would
remain united in achieving one goal. This film was
eventually premiered in Queens Film Theatre and I was
awarded first honours for this module, greatly
contributing towards my final 2:1 in my degree.

January 2014 – June 2018
Church Youth Leader
My role involved taking responsibility for a large group
teenagers, planning and leading a weekly youth club,
organising trips and activities, preparing talks and
engaging with young people and adults This
demonstrates my leadership skills and my ability to
manage my time well, take responsibility, work as a
team and to communicate effectively with a range of
age groups.
May - September 2017
International Guest Team
Throughout the summer of 2017, I lived and served in
Capernwray Hall, Lancashire as a member of the
International guest team. From October through to
April, Capernwray Hall is home to a two-term
evangelical bible school, but from the month of May
through to September, the staff run a weekly holiday
programme. The weeks range from family weeks to
youth weeks, to student weeks. My role was primarily
to serve as a facilitator of the available activities, as
well as youth leader. As well as this, I was given the
task of filming and editing a series of highlight videos
for each of the youth weeks in order to promote and
advertise the holidays to guests around the globe.
