For the past six months, I've been working as a Web Developer at Ticketmaster where I redesigned and developed websites for notable small to mid-size concert venues around the world. I specialize in Wordpress development, but I am also proficient in languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Before Ticketmaster, I worked at a digital marketing agency where I created microsites, landing pages, banner ads, email templates, infographics, and more. Some of my biggest clients included Google, Allstate, Southwest, Verizon, Kohl's, and DeVry University. These pages, as well as those that I completed at Ticketmaster, can be found on my portfolio (www.timlattimer.com).
Ultimately, I love what I do because I can take initial mockups and create fully functional and engaging websites for users. Seeing the tangible progress made at each step is quite rewarding as it helps me visualize the result. Working on event venue websites for Ticketmaster is especially rewarding for me as I am passionate about the industry. In pre-pandemic times, I was constantly attending Ticketmaster events, such as a Bulls vs. Mavericks basketball game or a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert. Working for the company allowed me to easily connect with my work, fueling my passion.
During this time, I look forward to expanding my skills by gaining exposure to other industries. Any freelance work would help fulfill this goal and make me a better web developer.
