Provide thought leadership and top-level communications to the executive board and division leaders to
ensure compliance in intellectual property, antitrust, and regulatory and legislative concerns.
Bringing knowledge and skills which allow the company to design and execute large scale campaigns and
programs in house saving massive amounts of money which would normally be spent on outside
consult. An integral member of the senior leadership’s Transformation Steering Council aimed at
reviewing and prioritizing the GP Building Products division’s capital projects and initiatives for the near
and far term. Monitor public sector issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate

Building Products division. This division represents 9,500 employees making up our Building

image, ensuring campaigns align with community needs, GP Foundation goals, and MBM philosophy.
Represented Georgia-Pacific and Naheola mill in several tax matters such as foregoing payment in lieu of
tax with the Town of Pennington, resulting in mill’s compliance with company and tax laws. Forged
strong relationships with government officials and community leaders, increasing Naheola’s market
share and exposure and establishing the company as an environmental steward.

Led effort to secure a 20-year tax abatement for boiler project that saved the company $9.3M
with after-tax NPV benefit of nearly $5.75M, and was also a sole factor for Koch Industries
decision to invest more than $2B for mill re-vitalization project

Orchestrated strategic zero-landfill multi-media initiative, highlighting the company’s waste
reduction efforts leading to cost savings of $20MM
