I have an educational background in business administration and computer technology and have been working as a proofreader and editor online for more than ten years. I have proofread and edited several student textbooks and workbooks used in computer classes and other educational material. 

I can proof/edit using MS Word Track Changes, and Grammarly. I edit according to the Chicago Manual of Style. In addition to these computer programs, I do a thorough word-by-word, line-by-line visual proofread.

I maintained a website and blog for several years detailing my hikes on mountain trails and to waterfalls. I also sold my waterfall book on the website. So, I am familiar with editing text and photos on websites.

I am the author of a 311-page trail guide to waterfalls in the Blue Ridge Mountains. So, I am very familiar with writing a detailed, step-by-step instructional book. Also, I researched and wrote a 270-page book on the 50-year history of a local church. All pages including photos were composed in MS Word.
