Thivanka Ilanperuma

I am a Sri Lankan information technologist who is ambitious to pursue a leadership career without losing grip on technical knowledge and expertise. I have more than 8 years of experience in Applications development where Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall principles were followed. I’m very strong in applications development using Microsoft Technologies such as ASP .Net, MVC, C# .Net, Web Services and REST API. A few years back, I have explored myself with React + Redux, Angular and AWS/Google based cloud development. I want to be the distinctive personnel that excels in both full-stack tech and leadership.

Currently, I’m playing a Tech Lead (ReactJS) role since mid-2018 and my responsibilities are, dealing with clients directly to gather requirements and managing the team with planning, estimating and assigning tasks to the right resources. Also, I’m responsible for mentoring and grooming up junior resources while getting engaged with core development work.

I’m a quick learner with strong development, communication, and leadership skills. I love photography, watching movies and travelling. I want to highlight the diversity of my experience from small startups, globally dispersed teams to large-scale product organizations.
