Hi, I’m Tharoon Gunawardana—a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a passion for making things run smoothly behind the scenes. Over the past few years, I’ve built my career in logistics, administration, and customer service, working in fast-paced environments in the UAE. My journey started in event management and marketing, where I learned the importance of clear communication, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. From there, I moved into travel consulting, where I was the go-to person for organizing travel arrangements and ensuring clients had a seamless experience from start to finish. I loved being the primary contact for clients, resolving their issues quickly, and making sure their needs were always met.

Most recently, I’ve been working as a Logistics & Administration Coordinator in the construction industry, supporting major projects and international teams. My day-to-day involves everything from coordinating travel and onboarding new staff, to managing inventory, handling documentation, and organizing meetings for stakeholders and VIPs. I’m comfortable juggling multiple priorities and thrive when I’m helping others—whether it’s training colleagues on new systems, streamlining office operations, or finding ways to cut costs and improve efficiency.

I’m fluent in English and Sinhala, and I’m always eager to learn new tools and technologies that make remote work more effective.
