I am a Geological Technician and Exploration Support Specialist with strong hands-on experience in core logging, core sampling, QA/QC management, dril-rig supervision, and geophysical data curation. I currently work across both field operations and technical data projects, contributing to high-quality geological interpretations and exploration workflows.
My core responsibilities include detailed core logging, lithological and structural description, sampling and ensuring strict QA/QC compliance on standard, blank, duplicate and certified reference sample. I manage and coordinate activities for three core drilling rigs, ensuring operational efficiency, bi-weekly reporting, safety alignment with project standards.
Safety is key part of my role. I lead daily safety share sessions to reinforce safe working practices and maintain a strong safety culture within the team. I believe that consistent communication and awareness are essential to preventing incidents, especially in high-risk drilling environments.
Alongside field and drilling operations, I work part time on a technical project focusing on the curation and management of global geophysical datasets. This includes organizing, validating, and preparing airborne and ground geophysics such as magnetics, gravity, IP, TDEM and MT for various exploration projects.
I use ArcGIS Pro to create clean, accurate maps and visuals products for exploration teams, integrating spatial datasets, survey grids, anomalies, interpretation, and geophysical layers. My ability to shift between fieldwork and technical data tasks makes me valuable addition to any team or task.
I am dependable, detail-orientated, and commited to delivering high-quality geological and geophysical outputs. Whether in the field, office, or remote environment, I focus on safety, efficiency, teamwork and accuracy.
