I am Tewodros Agegnehu, a passionate Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and predictive modeling. I build scalable AI-driven solutions that turn raw data into meaningful business insights.

With hands-on experience in Python, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, SQL, and big data frameworks, I develop end-to-end data solutions that enhance decision-making processes. My expertise extends to financial analytics, fraud detection, business intelligence, and natural language processing (NLP)—leveraging AI to solve complex industry challenges.

Some of my key projects include:

1. FraudShield-AI – Developed an AI-powered fraud detection system, applying anomaly detection algorithms and predictive modeling to identify fraudulent activities.

2. Rossmann Sales Prediction – Built a machine learning model for forecasting daily sales at Rossmann stores, integrating feature engineering, time series analysis, and a REST API for real-time predictions.

3. Stock Market Data Analysis – Conducted sentiment analysis on financial news, revealing correlations between news sentiment and market fluctuations. Applied technical analysis (RSI, MACD, Moving Averages) to stock price predictions.

4. TellCo Insights - Business Intelligence – Designed a data-driven customer behavior analysis model for a major telecom provider, uncovering trends and predicting user satisfaction.

5. Amharic-Ecom-NER – Developed a natural language processing (NLP) model for Named Entity Recognition (NER) in Amharic, enhancing e-commerce search and recommendation systems.

6. Quantum Computing with Qiskit – Explored quantum computing concepts through interactive Qiskit implementations, focusing on superposition, entanglement, and quantum gates.

7. Solar Farm Data Analysis – Conducted data analytics for solar energy production, optimizing power generation efficiency through predictive modeling.

In addition to my technical skills, I am an innovative leader and strategist. As the Student Union President at Addis Ababa University and Founder of the Ethiopian Society of Electrical Engineers Student Charter, I have led teams, managed large-scale projects, and driven impactful initiatives.
