I didn't grow up like most people. Although I did well in high school and graduated with honors and straight A’s, my parents didn't require that I attend a 4-year university straight out of high school. My parents are both scholastically well rounded with my mom having her Masters in psychotherapy and my dad designing and maintaining different websites for the students of the University of Colorado to register and maintain their courses. You'd think they would both push me to get a degree right away and find a 9-5 job but they didn't. They supported my backpacking trip around Europe for 4 months and when I did attend a University for just a year. They continue to support my dreams while I am a professional ballet dancer dancing with prestigious companies in the San Francisco/Bay area. I haven't had a traditional life but I have had a busy and exciting one. My parents never paid for my various pursuits, which taught me to hustle and find jobs to support myself. These have ranged from being a professional photographer, to working in a dance store and a local bakery. I learned how to run some of the business’s social medias along with learning how to keep my freelance profile active for jobs in dance and photography. Having had to manage my own business for photography, I know how to approach situations and deal with small business and to grow them naturally and locally. With bigger and more established businesses I learned the different groups I could expand to and the potential something a local business could become. I know how to work on a professional and personal level and have had outside experiences others probably do not have. I’ve learned to let the creative side take the reigns and understand that the practical side can come in after something beautiful is created. I am currently building a website and an app along with taking courses in Google Analytics and HubSpot. I am also learning about SEO and social media content and management so I can expand my skills and broaden my horizon. I hope to work with you and getting to know your business and your vision!
