Capstone Project (LSE) – UNICEF
Data analyst- project “Living with granny”
September 2015- June 2016
• The key objectives of the project were to identify a) to what extent ‘living with elderly’
is becoming a reality in developing countries, and b) to identify implications for
children and child-sensitive social policies.
• Created a database of 50 developing countries, which included household
composition, household characteristics and social status.
• Conducted a regression analysis, in order to find the relationship between coresidence and the well-being of children. With our results we developed policy
recommendations to improve the welfare of children.
UNDP México
Project/Research Assistant – Sustainable Development area

• Supported the implementation of administrative and financial mechanisms to ensure
transparent, fair and timely management of resources within UNDP framework.
• Evaluated policies concerning international development and climate change in
Mexico to feed into a larger UNDP publication.

Research Assistant
•Researched and analyzed federal legislators’ non-official relationships and their
influence on eventual legislation votes.
•Generated and maintained databases which contained the officials’ academic and
professional background (i.e. party affiliation, prior political experience, academic
background, etc.)
•Made use of primary sources (newspapers printed and online versions, official websites
etc.) and secondary sources (blogs, pictures, editorial notes etc.) to investigate the lives of
the federal legislators.

IDess Prepanet: As part of my social service I was appointed the tutoring of 8 to 12 students
and was responsible for monitoring their performance, reviewing tasks and activities related
to Mexican History and Basic Economics. I reported to the subject coordinator regarding
weekly student performance. The total number of time dedicated to tutoring was 320 hours,
100 additional hours than the mandatory 220 hours.
Orientación y Prevención: As part of my social service I was appointed by my teammates as
the leader of the exposition “Doparium”. The exposition gathered medical experts who
presented the dangers of excessive drug and alcohol use. My main task was to contact the
medical experts, arrange logistics for the presentation and design flyers for the event. The 5day exposition received about 3000 students from ITESM-CEM.
Student Association AIRE: Logistics Staff member of the AMEI (Mexican Association for
International Studies) Congress in San Luis Potosí.
