Our services include but are not limited to: • HR Manuals such as; - Employment Contracts - HR Policies and Procedures - Business Templates - Warning Letters - HSE Policies - Dismissal Letters • HR Consultancy Advice - Developing/Restructuring HR Systems - Training Programs - Performance Management - Performance Appraisals - HR Business Plans - HR Strategies - Complaints and Employee Feedback • Industrial Relations - Award Interpretation - Disputes and Resolutions - Negotiation and Bargaining - Mediation - Unfair Dismissal Recruitment The Business Hub prides themselves in the profession of people. Having the right person in the right role makes all the difference within a business. At the Business Hub, we pride ourselves with efficiency, diligence, empathy and compassion. We assist businesses with sourcing talent that aligns with the company morale’s and objectives whilst also helping individuals progress in their chosen career paths. We follow a process that ensures both your business and the candidate are satisfied, excited and reassured for a successful and promising future. 1. Strategy To start off with the recruitment process, we will conduct a meeting to establish the needs and wants of the position. We will analyse the requirements of the positions such as the demographic, skill sets, educational requirements, experience, qualifications and licenses etc. We will target a deadline of the commencement date for the position so that we can ensure a smooth and easy transition for the candidate as well as for your staff and resources. 2. Sourcing Searching for the candidate is the next step of the recruitment process. We will use two sourcing techniques; internal and external sourcing. Internal Sourcing will consist of: - Promotions - Transfers - Referrals - Internal Postings - Former employees - Previous applicants External Sourcing will consist of: - Advertisements - Social Media - Job Posting Websites - Employment Agencies - Word of Mouth Depending on your level of preference, we will source for the candidate in either one of the two sourcing techniques. 3. Screening/Shortlisting Once we have sourced potential candidates, the next step is to screen all the candidates to shortlist and filter through all applications. We will review all resumes and cover letters received to analyse the candidates experience, education, skill sets and overall requirements of the job. The obvious red flags we look at are longevity of jobs (aka job-hopping), gaps in employment, lack of career progression and reasons for resigning of employment. In the process of filtering the resumes, we will conduct a phone interview, just asking general questions about the candidate. This helps us verify the candidates, ensuring they are active and available, and it gives us an insight into the candidate’s attitude, personality and the ability to answer questions on the spot. Once we have conducted our telephone interviews, we will have a clear focus on our top candidates, from which we conduct face to face interviews. We will provide you with the top candidates we have selected, along with providing insights and recommendations on why we have selected the chosen. From here, you will be able to select your best fit candidate. 4. Evaluation and Onboarding This will be our final stage in the recruitment process. From here, you will have selected the chosen candidate for the position, and we will commence to onboard the employee into your business. We create the Employment Contract (in alignment with the Fair Work Act 2009), gather the Employee pack which will include the Employee Details Form, Tax File Number Declaration Form and Superannuation Form. Once we have all information obtained, we will input all data into our employee management system ‘Employment Hero’ and ‘KeyPay’. An employee profile will be created, along with an employee identification number. Payroll The Business Hub uses two Employee Management programs; Keypay and Employment Hero. KeyPay Keypay provides us with an employee management software as well as a payroll platform. It consolidates an employee timesheet, leave management, reporting and all employee data. The Business Hub utilises Keypay for pay conditions, rostering, time and attendance of shifts, automated and manual payroll, superannuation, tax file declarations, all leave entitlements, pay slips, analytic reports of all kinds and EOFY reconciling. We will organise all your employee pay runs and processes depending on your choice of weekly, fortnightly or monthly processing. Employment Hero Employment Hero is our HR management software that performs all your employee onboarding, inductions, visa checks, performance reviews, built in contracts and policies and all forms of HR templates. We will onboard an employee through Employment Hero, and all data will be stored confidentially. What The Business Hub enjoys most about this software, is that your employee also has access to this program. They can download the app and manage their profile, submit timesheets, sign documents, complete inductions and submit any leave requests. It is a two-way management system that provides easy and efficient approaches. It also ensures that The Business Hub and your business complies with legislation and regulations. For example, you have an employee on a visa, we would put all visa details within the system so that when the visa is close to expiry, The Business Hub will get an alert to notify us in order for an employee to legally be working in Australia, they will then need to renew their visa. For more information on either programmes, we can provide you online demonstrations and tutorials on the software, as well as an information handbook. COMPETITOR ANALYSIS The Business Hub primarily focuses on small-medium sized businesses. This is so we can provide extreme attention to detail and approach whilst focusing on all aspects of your labour and administration needs. Creating a Human Resources, Recruitment and Payroll department requires high costs, multiple resources, technology investments, qualified personnel, and a large amount of time to create. This is not always feasible and realistic for a small business.
