1. “Stress analysis of Non-Standard Spur gear using Finite Element Methods”
Computational analysis of Non-Standard (asymmetric) Spur gear of pressure angles ranging
from 20-20 degree to 20-40 degree for bending stress and contact stress analysis and
optimization of the spur gear to reduce the bending stress at its critical section using Ansys
software.
2. “Design and Manufacturing of a Micro class airplane”
To design & build a micro class plane carrying the highest amount of payload while remaining
the lightest in weight and compete with international teams at SAE International, USA.
3. “Design, Analysis and Optimization of ATV chassis”
To design an ATV chassis for the SAE India Baja event. The ATV was modeled on Solidworks
and the FEA for the same was carried out using Ansys. The design was then optimized based
on the FEA results to resist more impact loads and to produce a chassis that would give
exceptional performance in future competitions.
