EXPERIENCE
SALES ASSOCIATE/STREAMER • SEARCHLIGHT COMICS • MAY 2022 – PRESENT
I host a daily stream through Whatnot, an online marketplace, to sell
comic books. I enthusiastically engage with 20-50 viewers to drive
sales, and sell up to $2,000 worth of comics a day. Other duties included
pricing comics, stocking lots, clean-up duties, and so on.
EDITORIAL INTERN • PAPERCUTZ • APRIL 2022 – OCTOBER 2022
Working under the assistant editor, I proofread and edited multiple
scripts for children’s comics such as “Geronimo Stilton” and “Smurfs.”
These edits included translations, grammar checking, script layouts, and
so on. I also provided administrative support with data entry and file
organization.
FREELANCE CARTOONIST/ILLUSTRATOR • MAY 2020 – PRESENT
I have worked on multiple freelance comic and illustration projects. Some
projects include comics for anthologies and online magazines such as the
Nib and Shenandoah Literary, inking comic pages for an online children's
comic, as well as creating customized illustrations for clients.
