Thank you for your interest in my work. Here's a little information about myself. I have a bachelors degree in Computer Science. I have been working professionally in the industry since before I graduated from university, which puts me at 15 years of solid work experience in the Web Development industry. Within those 15 years, I have touched on many programming languages ranging from ColdFusion, ASP, VBScript, Python (with Django), Ruby (on Rails), and the language with the most experience, PHP. I am an expert in developing themes and plugins for WordPress and am even able to develop using a theme builder such as Beaver Builder. My experience in web design includes using database management systems such as MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSql. I also have experience with javascript and implementing package managers such as npm, bower, and webpack to name a few. Along the same lines, I have experience with CSS extensions such as SCSS and LESS. And of course, we can't leave out the version control. I am most familiar with Git, although back in the "olden days" I used CSV. Pretty much anything related to the world wide web, I have a skillset for. You name it, I got it.
In addition to my own professional experience, I am also a professor of Computer Science at a local community college. This has been a very rewarding and humbling experience for me as I walk our future generation through the concepts of programming to arm them with the skills, both technical and interpersonal, to be able to navigate the world of development and software engineering. Here, I have taught 'Introduction to Programming' and 'Web Design and Development' as well as 'C#'.
