With over 20 years of experience in strategic communications, advocacy, and media engagement—particularly within the humanitarian, gender, and development sectors—I am deeply aligned with your mission to amplify the voices of girls and end child marriage globally.

In my roles with WHO Somalia, USAID, UNICEF, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, I have developed and implemented high-impact communication strategies that elevate community voices, center gender equity, and drive social behavior change. I have led regional storytelling campaigns, developed compelling multimedia content, and collaborated with media networks across Africa to amplify critical public health and rights-based narratives. My work has consistently focused on crafting inclusive, culturally relevant communications that drive engagement and policy influence.

I am especially passionate about supporting grassroots movements and creating platforms for underrepresented voices. At WHO, I led the development of nine case studies showcasing the impact of local partners in advancing gender-responsive healthcare. I bring strong experience in digital strategy, content creation, press engagement, and capacity building—alongside a commitment to feminist values and intersectional advocacy.
