I am a South African entrepreneur and business leader with significant contributions to the country’s restaurant and food industries.
I serve as the director of RocoMamas Oceans Mall Umhlanga and RocoMamas Florida Road in Durban, both of which are part of the renowned RocoMamas restaurant chain, known for its gourmet burgers and vibrant dining experience. Additionally, I am the owner and director of Chippewa Spur, a well-known restaurant offering quality steakhouse dining.
Beyond these ventures, I am also the owner and director of Saltwater Marketing, a company dedicated to innovative marketing solutions, and I played a key role in launching South Africa’s first Halaal-certified Doppio Zero, bringing the renowned restaurant brand to a wider audience.
In 2016, I created the Fitdeli brand, pioneering a health-focused dining concept that blends nutrition with great taste, catering to a growing market for wholesome and balanced meals.
Further expanding my portfolio, I acquired Nando’s in 2022, adding one of the world’s most iconic flame-grilled chicken brands to my business ventures.
In addition to my restaurant ownership, I actively contribute to the industry by representing the Spur Franchise Advisory and serving on the RocoMamas Menu and Advisory Committee for the country, where I help shape brand strategies and menu innovations.
My contributions to the restaurant sector have garnered public attention; I was featured on the cover of Eastern Eye South Africa magazine in December 2018, highlighting my influence and prominence in the industry.
