(August 2008) Completed Hardware and Networking training via private institute ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Project Experience Data Migration (ETL)/ Backup -Restore • Developed programs which automatically performs ETL (Extraction-Transform-Load) operations for Digital archiving projects. • Developed Backup/restore scripts for database and data. Backup scripts usually handles 200-300 GB of Database and around 2 TB of images/documents for Ministry of Justice, Qatar archiving project. Versatile Service Engine (VSE) - Backup and Restore System (BnR) • Worked with a team of 2-3, primary responsibility was proper functioning of BnR system of various telecom service providers. Also, worked on implementing new features and fix bugs in the existing system. One of the feature developed by me was selective restore which would only restore the corrupted part rather than the whole system. This process reduced the restore time and in turn the server outage time. Versatile Service Engine (VSE) -KeyCode System • Worked on enhancing the existing KeyCode system (Framework to enable/disable functionality/license/modules of a VSE System). Lumension Endpoint Security Support • Providing technical support to Lumension customer in Qatar on its various modules like device control, application control, patch and remediation etc. Travel booking Management System • Developed this application for a travel and tour company. The modules developed as a part were Customer Management, Visa management, Hotel booking management, staff management, group management. Digital Archiving System. • System consists of 3 modules: Index module, Admin Module and QC module. Main purpose of the system was to ease the operation during Digital archiving process. System provides administrators to monitor and track the overall process such as monitoring no. of record indexed, scanned, QC by a user, tracking how much data has been completed within time frame etc. Invoice/Inventory Management System • Developed an Invoice/inventory management system which provides facilities for maintaining invoice, supplies, customers, stocks. It also provides statistical reports on Tax, stock shortage, billing etc. Localizer Plano (Dynamic Tracking system) • Along with two friends, developed a dynamic tracking system which helps to locate a person within certain premises.
