at that time. Skills: JavaScript, HTML, Vue.js, SCSS
April 2019 - September 2021 (2 years and 6 months)
Fullstack Web&Mobile Developer
Responsibilities and Achievements:
This marks a period of versatility. I expanded beyond my core stack, which included PHP, and
became more individualized in my approach to projects. I continuously learned and
implemented new technological stacks. Three key projects during this time:
1. Developed a browser version parser for Google Messenger using Selenium and Python
programming language. The parser was accessed through a RESTful API built with the Flask
framework. This experience led to regular requests for parsers, including parsers for Instagram,
Facebook, TikTok, and international marriage agency websites.
2. Created a mobile application for Android called Facefit, which offered face fitness courses.
This led to "turnkey" mobile app orders, such as Shef Taxi (a taxi service in Uzbekistan),
Lingvalien (English language learning), and Shef Driver (a driver app). I also started receiving
orders for minor edits and enhancements to mobile applications. As a result, I upgraded my
2012 computer to a modern one.
3. Developed the enrollment system for Tomsk State University called Enrolless using the Ruby
on Rails framework. I joined Enrolless during the busy period of student enrollment, which was
in the summer. I learned the technologies on the job and relied on my previous experience in
server-side programming languages, enhanced JavaScript skills, and web development using
flexbox. I also had the opportunity to work with a more experienced developer in the team, and
my proficiency in Git solidified.
Skills: Kotlin, Android Development, Client-Server Application Development, SQLite, Python,
Selenium, Celery, Flask, Git, Ruby on Rails
March 2016 - April 2019 (3 years and 2 months)
Backend Developer
Responsibilities and Achievements:
This period of work can be described as "working with info entrepreneurs." During this time, I
stopped using freelance exchanges to find orders. I looked for clients on social media, in
communities dedicated to information business and business in general. I worked with Sergey
Gran, Nikolay Volosyankov, and other information entrepreneurs. I also taught my friend from
Lugansk, Ilya Meshcheryakov, front-end development, and later JavaScript and PHP, gradually
reducing reliance on hiring freelancers. The two of us handled 3-4 parallel projects. Later, I
noticed a decrease in the quality of work from my partner and decided to stop managing
developers in order to ensure the quality
matched my level and not that of my trained friends or freelancers. I also gave up parallel
development of multiple projects and established a business model in a sequential format in the
form of a live queue. There was a lot of "word of mouth" involved (friends of my clients' friends
approached me based on natural recommendations, or in simpler terms, I learned to deliver
work in a way that made my clients eager to showcase the results to as many people as
possible). By the way, this cooperation with information entrepreneurs influenced me - I learned
from them, and they learned from progressive Western colleagues. Later, I understood where
the primary source was and also started learning from Western business and programming
experts.
Skills: Staff training, coaching, client acquisition, public speaking, business consulting,
teamwork, idea generation, Java, Git, object-oriented programming (OOP).
DomenDesign as a partner of poltor.com
October 2014 - February 2016 (1 year and 5 months)
Founder
Responsibilities and Achievements:
After moving to Kyiv due to the war in Luhansk, I resumed collaboration with my mentor,
Yevgeniy Poltoratskiy. This time, I was an experienced freelancer, not a beginner student, and
immediately started receiving turnkey projects. Accordingly, I looked for and hired designers,
front-end developers, programmers, copywriters, and advertisers. From the perspective of my
development as an entrepreneur, it was an incredible experience. However, in terms of
programming, my backend developer skills significantly declined during this time as I worked
with PHP on Wordpress and Opencart platforms. Later, I realized that the PHP concept itself
didn't interest me as a developer, so I simply needed to change backend technologies in my
stack. Skills: People management, business process organization, team formation, negotiation,
project management, technical specification development, business development, customer
support, company management, development management.
Weblancer.net
March 2013 - November 2014 (1 year and 9 months)
Developer
Responsibilities and Achievements:
I started looking for my target audience of clients and increasing the volume of work and
income. I trained my first employee, Yevgeniy Petrov, in Lugansk. We set up a micro office in
his home and worked together on freelance projects. Mostly it involved web design and
WordPress. Freelancing is a strong school for building a public reputation and accumulating
responsibility. It was a period in my life when I could work for 24 hours straight for several days.
I was only interested in finding projects, implementing them, and earning money. Skills: HTML,
CSS, JQuery, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, OOP, SQL, Ajax, Database, Pixel-perfect.
poltor.com
August 2012 - March 2013 (8 months)
Front-end developer, PHP back-end developer for Joomla and WordPress Responsibilities and
Achievements:
During the break between college and university, I studied the stack of HTML5 + CSS3 + JS +
jQuery + PHP + MySQL + WordPress for my own gaming blog and personal game. At that
time, only Google Chrome supported CSS3, and in search of answers about cross-browser
compatibility, I met a wonderful person and expert, Yevgeniy Poltoratskiy. He appreciated my
fundamental approach to programming - I focused on the basics: syntax, language peculiarities
from my stack, technologies, and mathematics. He gradually started assigning me tasks for
web design, then Joomla configuration, and eventually, I found a place in his company where I
developed and designed websites using WordPress and made changes to existing ones. In
those early years, I began to realize that PHP and my fundamental approach, whether it's
RESTful API or OOP, didn't intersect much. PHP websites at that time required doing the same
thing according to a template. After some time, in 2014, I started working with him again as a
manager, taking on "turnkey" websites, hiring designers, front-end developers, and occasionally
marketers.
Skills: Landing page design, Responsive design, WordPress, JQuery, CSS, HTML,
Cross-browser compatibility, Valid markup, Semantic markup, Joomla, Web development.
